Yesterday was our good friend, Ben’s, 27th birthday.  Chris and I had the pleasure of joining Ben, his wife, Andrea (also our friend, haha) and some other friends for dinner at Grazie! in Bloomington, IN.  Good thing Ben’s birthday was on a Wednesday a.k.a. Half-Price Bottles of Wine Night!

After dinner, we went back to Ben and Andrea’s house for a relaxing evening of music, conversation and of course, Euchre.  Victory went to the ladies (did you ever doubt it?), and everyone had a great time (even our puppies).

Abbey (our dog) and Rubee (Ben and Andrea’s dog) got along surprisingly well last night.  They were not big fans of each other after Abbey visited for a week while Chris and I were in California.  Below is a picture of our sweet little one.  Stay tuned for pictures of Rubee after her upcoming visit to our house this weekend and boating/camping trip in a couple weeks.  She’s a cutie!

During the middle of May, I had the opportunity to work with Chad Franz of Eclipse Photography.  While his assistant was away, I filled in as a second shooter at Amber and Charlie’s wedding in Muncie, IN.

The wedding party was pretty in pink and the couple was very fun to work with.  What a beautiful day!

On a whim, I jumped on a bus called Rufus The Party Bus, formerly known as a school bus and adapted to serve as the ultimate ride.  Couches, beds, bathroom, stereo system, generator, coolers full of beer, coolers full of beer, coolers full of beer…you get the idea.  Rufus took us to the Joe Cocker and Steve Miller Band concert at Verizon Wireless June 28th.

With free tickets, the price was right, but I think Chris and I both agree that we would have paid to see that show.  The night was perfect…a little cool, nice breeze, lots of friends and GREAT music.  Check out some of the images below…

A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of getting together with Kristin, Cory and Reece at the Indianapolis Museum of Art for an engagement session.  Reece was a ton of fun… he was helping me throughout the session and there were times when I let him use my camera… he caught a great shot of Kristin with Cory in the background that I love.

You can check out the rest of the photos from this engagement session at the customized site from Pictage by clicking here.

The wedding is August 1st so stay tuned to see more photos after the wedding.  Visit the site for their wedding photos before they’re released and you’ll receive a $5 gift certificate from us to purchase prints.
