We’re looking for some feedback…
What do you think about a digital only package for your wedding photography? I’m talking about a package where you don’t get any prints. You’d get the images for download from an online gallery and on a disc that you can share with friends and family.
This new package would share a lot of the same characteristics that our traditional packages enjoy…
- wedding day coverage with two photographers (engagements sessions, rehearsal & dinner, etc. can be added)
- all images edited, retouched, cropped, color corrected, and artistic effects added
- final photographs delivered on disc with personal use copyright license
- online gallery of images
There are some other items that would be included that are not normally included:
- ability for family and friends to download images from online gallery
- dvd slideshow of final images (also available online)
- carbon offset credit for the projected energy use and waste from the wedding
This is a very “digital” package that relies heavily on the use of the Internet but drastically reduces the materials and waste associated with packaging, prints, and albums. Only the items that were going to be used in your homes and lives would be printed.
