Lauren and Zach were only in town for a few days around Christmas so we bundled up and braved the snow to capture some beautiful engagement photos at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. We’re looking forward to seeing them the next time they are in town!

Jenna and Anthony

We met up with Jenna and Anthony for their engagement session on a very cold afternoon in downtown Indianapolis. We started at the Indiana War Memorial and then headed over to Mass Ave. Although there was a chill in the air we had a great time with Jenna and Anthony!

Megan and Brendan

We met with Megan and Brendan on a cold evening before Christmas near the Monon Trail for an engagement session. They were only in town for a short time around the holidays so we chose to brave the chilly temps… turns out it was totally worth it! After walking around Broad Ripple and the canal for a bit we chose to head up to the Indianapolis Arts Center. Then after having fun along the river and by the funny looking house we went back down for a pint of beer at the Broad Ripple Brewpub.

Amanda and Jason’s wedding was a blast last Friday. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer December afternoon and evening at the Garrison at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park. Flowers were done by Adrian’s Flowers in Noblesville.

Brittni & Stephen’s Wedding

Congratulations to the newly married couple Brittni and Stephen Lents! We escaped the cold wind at the Abundant Life Church for an early ceremony and a great luncheon with catering provided by MBP Catering.

Jessica and Rodney

Audrey met Jessica a few years ago through Sarah Reffett, a past client, (see Sarah’s photos here) and now we have the pleasure of photographing their engagement and wedding!

On a cold October Saturday we visited the West Side Nut Club’s Fall Festival for some excellent fair-food. Then the next day the sun came out in the afternoon and was a beautiful day on the Ohio River in Evansville when we met for an engagement session.

We started at the Pagoda and worked our way over to Main Street downtown Evansville. We had such a fun time – they brought their tandem bicycle and rode along the riverwalk. They even brought their softball mitts for a bit of catch.

Mindie & Zack

Mindie and Zack have some pretty busy schedules but we were lucky enough to catch up with them at the end of September for a few hours to do what we thought would be a quick engagement session (we ended up having so much fun that we ran out of daylight!). We wanted to start off in Zack’s parents backyard for a few photos before heading downtown near the canal. Starting at White River State Park we worked our way back by the Indiana State Museum and the NCAA Hall of Champions then behind the Eiteljorg Museum and over towards the Indiana Government Center and the Fire Station where they rent paddle boats finally stopping near the Indiana Historical Society before turning back. It wasn’t really that far but when we stop to take pictures of this cute couple every few feet then it takes a while! We’re looking forward to seeing them (and their fun friends too) at their wedding next June!

Canvas Prints

We love canvas prints. They are really cool. Yes, reeeeally cool.

We work exclusively with Canvas On Demand and have always had wonderful results. Our favorite photographs are always presented this way – a high quality print on artist canvas stretched over 1.5″ deep wood supports.

We’re able to order them in just about any size and are amazing when we order ‘em big… reeeeally big. They stand out boldly without the distraction of a frame just as if it was floating on the wall. They have a nice dustcover backing with the hanging hardware and bumpers installed. I always tell people that I think the canvas makes their photograph look like it should be in a museum of art.

Milly & Corey

Milly and Corey had a wonderful outdoor wedding over the Labor Day weekend. Everyone brought their umbrellas for a very wet ceremony at Lincoln Park in downtown Zionsville. Then after the ceremony was over and the rain stopped everyone headed over to Corey’s parent’s for an impressive reception. It was a beautiful evening under the tent! Below are a few of our favorites from the day.

Milly had two hair stylists for her wedding party: Loni Wilson of 28 Star Studio and Danie Patterson of “I Do” Hair by Danie. She also had Karen Hall do her makeup. The beautiful flowers were designed by Adriene’s Flowers in Noblesville. At the reception the cake was created by Michelle Wilmore and the catering was from Shoup’s in Frankfort. Everyone did a wonderful job and we personally recommend all of them.
